The Raymond Corporation received Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s Green Supply Chain Award for its sustainability practices. The award recognizes companies that make green processes part of their core strategy.
GREENE, N.Y., December 10, 2018 — The Raymond Corporation received Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s Green Supply Chain Award for its sustainability practices. The award recognizes companies that make green processes part of their core strategy. Raymond was selected because of its commitment to implementing and using sustainability practices and materials in its corporate office and manufacturing facility.
These sustainable processes consist of using alternative fuels and energy sources; upgrading software and controllers to an automated logic and lighting control program; limiting use of heating and air conditioning; using reclaimed water from powder-coat paint system for utility requirements; and installing supplemental active solar lighting.
