We Collect Data You Voluntarily Provide

Personal Identifiers

If you elect to provide us any personal information, such as your name, email and mailing addresses, phone number, or other similar identifiers, we will collect it and use it pursuant to this Privacy Policy and applicable law. For example, you may provide your contact data to place an order, contact us via email, phone, or various contact forms (where we will retain the content of your form submission), receive or request data from us, and respond to communications from us (e.g., surveys). If you choose to provide us with a third party’s personal information, you acknowledge that you have the third party’s permission to do so.

Raymond Account Information. 

To create an online Raymond account or use our Mobile Apps, you must provide certain personal information, such as your name and contact information, and you must create a login and password for your account. This data is used to populate a profile within your account. 

Order and Payment Data. 

To make purchases through the Online Services, you will need to submit some or all of the following: your name, credit or debit card type, number, expiration date, security code and billing address. You may also need to submit purchase order data. All credit and debit card data is provided directly to our PCI-compliant third-party payment processors. We do not directly access, handle, or store your credit or debit card data. We may maintain a record of your purchases, service requests, or purchasing considerations and tendencies through the Online Service. We will store the last four digits of your payment card to facilitate future orders via the Online Service.

Marketing Communications.

If you opt in to receive our marketing communications, you will need to submit your name and contact information. We use this data to provide you with promotional and other electronic and hard copy communications. We may use third-party providers to deliver communications to you, which may include research surveys. You may opt out of receiving marketing communications by using the unsubscribe link in the applicable email or contacting us at [email protected] with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line. To opt out of short message service (“SMS”) messages, reply “STOP” or use the unsubscribe term identified by the SMS. To opt out of other forms of marketing, such as postal marketing or telemarketing, please contact us at 1-800-235-7200.

Job Application Materials.

To submit job application materials, you will be redirected to our online job applications portal, which is hosted by ADP. You may be prompted to create an ADP account. All data related to job applications is submitted directly through the ADP site and will then be shared with us. We encourage you to review ADP’s terms and privacy policy. If you submit job application materials, we may use the contents to evaluate your qualifications and to respond to you. Submission of such materials does not guarantee review or consideration for employment. Information we may collect related to job applications may include your current or past job history or performance evaluations. Additionally, we may collect Social Security number, physical characteristics or description, passport number, driver’s license or state identification card number.

Data Automatically Collected During Online Service Use or From Third-party Sources

We may also collect and use personal information through our third-party sources or as a result of your use of our Online Services. This includes information collected about you automatically, using technologies and third-party sources that provide us with information about how you access and use our Online Services, as described below. Account Activity.

We may collect data about how you use (i) your online account, and (ii) the Online Services when you are logged into your account.

Analytics Information.

We may enable and implement various analytics tools, such as Google Analytics. These tools may access information about your physical location, movements or interactions on the Website, your IP address, device ID, and information about your internet or other network activity such as browsing or search history. Google Analytics is an analytics tool provided by Google Inc. to collect and process Collected Data. Google sets and reads cookies to collect such Collected Data and your web browser will automatically send such Collected Data to Google. Google uses this data to provide us with reports that we use to improve Online Service structure, content, and overall user experience, including content personalization and marketing automation. 

We may enable and implement additional add-on services to Google Analytics solutions, such as Demographics and Interest Reporting. Demographics and Interest Reporting uses a third-party cookie to collect information about our Online Services traffic by tracking users across websites and across time.

We also use service providers for session analytics tracking. These service providers use cookies and other technology to collect data on your behaviors and your use of our Website, including your IP address, device information, location, and information related to your interactions with our Website, including the length of time you remain on a page, how you navigate the Website, the clicks you make, and any links you interact with.

Cookies & Similar Tracking Technologies Data.

Raymond and our service providers may use various technologies such as cookies (i.e., small text files placed on your device to store data that can be recalled by a web server in the domain that placed the cookie) and similar tracking technologies such as web beacons (i.e., tiny graphic files that contain a unique identifier that enable us to recognize when someone has visited the Websites). We may use these technologies to collect information regarding the pages you visit, the interactions with third-party ads and links, or for other business and marketing purposes. For example, our Websites include cookies used by Google Analytics to collect information on Website visitors for our business purposes.

Online Behavioral Advertising Data.

We want to provide you with content and advertisements that are relevant to you. As a result, we may use advertising networks and services provided by third-party technology vendors and research firms. These services collect certain data related to your interactions with the Online Services and other websites and use such data to target personal content and advertisements for goods and services. These services may also collect inferences about you, such as which products you may want more information on. Additionally, we may provide basic information we collect (such as email addresses) to service providers, who may “match” this information in de-identified form to cookies, mobile ad identifiers, and other proprietary IDs, in order to provide you with more relevant ads when you use other online services. We do this to understand how you use our Website, to improve our services, and to deliver more tailored advertisements to you. The data collected may be associated with your personal information. For example, we may use Google Ads to serve ads on our behalf across the internet. Google uses cookies and other similar tracking technologies to collect information about your visits to the Online Services and your interaction with our products and services to generate targeted advertisements to you on other websites that you visit across the internet. Opting out will not affect your use of the Online Service.

To change your preferences with respect to certain online ads and to obtain more data about third-party ad networks and online behavioral advertising, please visit the National Advertising Initiative Consumer opt-out page or the Digital Advertising Alliance Self-Regulatory Program. Please remember that changing your settings with individual browsers or ad networks will not necessarily carry over to other devices, browsers or ad networks. As a result, depending on the opt-outs you request, you may still see our ads from time to time.

Social Media Information. 

The Online Services may allow you to connect to and share content with various social media platforms (“platforms”), for example, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube. These features may require us to implement cookies, plug-ins, and application protocol interfaces (APIs) provided by those platforms to facilitate those communications and features. We may share Collected Data with those platforms and that data will be subject to their privacy policies. We encourage you to review each platform’s privacy policies. We cannot control the platforms’ polices or terms, so we are not responsible for any platform’s use of your data or content. You are subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policies of the social media sites you engage with. Please be mindful in your use. Use these platforms at your own risk.

The Online Services may use those platforms’ advertising services to deliver advertising content. These services require platforms to implement cookies or pixel tags to deliver ads to you while you are logged into the platform. To prevent platforms from collecting your data via the Online Services, we suggest that you: (a) do not connect to or share data with that platform using the Online Services; (b) hide social media platform plug-ins using an ad blocker (disable in your browser settings); (c) always log off completely from the platform before visiting other websites and delete all related cookies; and, (d) where the option is available, disable the advertising services and networks operated by that platform (e.g., you may opt out of X’s interest-based advertising by following the instructions outlined here.

We are active on social media, including Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube. We may post on our Online Services and platform pages and otherwise respond to any content that you post on our platform pages. We will be held harmless and without liability for third-party reposts to other locations, including the direct or assumed meaning regarding content from all our platform pages.

Embedded Content.

The Online Services may incorporate content, including feeds scripts embedded in the Online Services’ code and visible content, provided by third parties. Those third parties may collect data about how you interact with their content (e.g., YouTube may collect usage data on videos embedded on the Online Services as described in YouTube’s policy).

Data from Other Sources. 

We obtain data about individuals from various third-party companies and public sources and we may combine this data with personal information or other Collected Data that we may have about you. This enhances our existing data about our users and customers (e.g., adding address data) and improves our ability to contact you and our marketing’s relevancy.

Legal Basis for Processing Your Personal Information (EEA Only)

If you are an individual from the European Economic Area (“EEA”), our legal basis for collecting and using personal information will depend on the personal information concerned and the specific context in which we collect it. Third-Party Suppliers, Consultants, and Affiliates.

“Selling”, “Sharing”, and “Targeted Advertising”

As described above, we may use, or authorize service providers or other authorized third-parties to use, cookies, web beacons and similar technologies for online advertising. Our disclosure of your personal information for online advertising may constitute “selling”, “sharing”, “profiling”, or “targeted advertising” under some U.S. State Privacy Laws. The term "sale" may include sharing personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration under applicable U.S. State Privacy Laws.

To the extent this is considered “selling”, “sharing”, “profiling”, or “targeted advertising” in the preceding 12 months, Raymond has sold or shared the following categories or personal information to our third-party providers and advertising partners for the purposes of showing you ads about our products and services and to better understand out you use our Online Services: Personal Identifiers, Marketing Communications, Account Activity, Analytics Information, Cookies & Similar Tracking Technologies Data, Online Behavioral Advertising Data, and Social Media Information.

To exercise the right to opt-out, you (or your authorized representative) may submit a request to us as described below. You do not need to create an account with us to exercise your opt-out rights.

Some browsers offer you the ability to opt out of the sharing of your personal information by turning on a Global Privacy Control. You can turn on a Global Privacy Control in your web browser or browser extension or by visiting https://globalprivacycontrol.org/. International Transfers of Your Personal Information

In operating the Online Services, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than the country in which you are a resident. Those countries may have data protection laws that are different from those of your country and, in some cases, may not be as protective. Specifically, our Website servers and some of our service providers are located in the United States and our affiliated companies and third-party service providers and partners operate around the world. We will use this information only to verify you and process your request. If you are an authorized agent for another individual, then we reserve the right to request you demonstrate evidence of your authorization, either by providing us with a signed permission form or a copy of your power of attorney granting you such authority.

We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. To verify your identity, we may request up to three pieces of personal information about you, and we reserve the right to take additional steps as necessary to verify your identity if we have reason to believe the request is fraudulent.

Response Timing and Format. We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within 30 to 45 days of its receipt depending on where you are located. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.

Third-Party Websites

The Online Services may link to, or be linked to, websites not controlled by us. We are not responsible for third parties’ privacy policies or practices. This policy does not apply to any third-party websites or to any data that you provide to third parties. You should read the privacy policy for each website that you visit.

Data Security

Data storage and transmission can never be completely secure. We do not guarantee that loss, misuse, or alteration of Collected Data will not occur. We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk for all personal information processed. The Online Services have commercially reasonable security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control.

Children

We are committed to protecting children’s privacy. The Online Services are not directed at children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect, use, sell, or share data from children under 18. If a parent or legal guardian learns their child provided us with personal information without his or her consent, please contact us.

Raymond as a Service Provider

When Raymond acts as a service provider for its customers, we collect personal information (as defined below) on behalf of our customers subject to our contractual obligations. When we act as a service provider, we follow the instructions of our customer on how to process personal information on our customer’s behalf. The provisions in this Privacy Policy do not apply to the personal information that Raymond processes on behalf of our customers.
